BIOGRAPHY
Since 1980, I’ve written non-fiction and fiction, articles and ads, columns and short stories, videos and movie scripts. I’ve won awards, been published extensively in magazines, and helped corporate America to learn through instructional media. I’ve even had a few of my photographs published in magazines, both in the United States and Asia.
Born in California, I spent my early writing years in San Francisco as a video producer, ad copy writer, and script writer. Then, twenty years ago, I was lured by the open space and minimal traffic of the Southwest and moved to Santa Fe. Since then, I've added magazine writer, corporate media writer and instructional designer to my resume.
I hold two BA degrees from Sonoma State University: one in Creative Writing, with distinction, and the other in American History. My informal education is ongoing and includes travel for both work and pleasure to Asia, India, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Middle East, Africa and throughout North America.
When not traveling or writing, I spend my time in Santa Fe with my husband (a Brit ex-pat) and two rather spoiled dogs.
